Data and your choices

Privacy notice

This notice covers the Atlas Arcanum information website, creator support and the private Atlas Arcanum Foundry application.

Project operator: Federico Guerra, using the BlackSmith Forge name. Contact: blacksmith.forge.hub@gmail.com. Updated 2026-09-16.

Visiting this website

This site serves static pages and locally hosted images and fonts. We have not added analytics, advertising pixels, third-party embeds, a signup form or application cookies. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and time to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare handles those records under its own service terms and privacy policy.

Contacting the creator

If you email BlackSmith Forge, Google Gmail stores the message and associated sender details, text and attachments. We use them to answer your request and follow up on the project or support issue. Sending a support email does not add you to a newsletter list. Email sent to newsletter@atlasarcanum.quest is forwarded by Porkbun to the BlackSmith Forge Gmail account.

Google data accessed by Foundry

The creator grants the Gmail read-only permission for the BlackSmith Forge mailbox. Foundry retrieves the connected account identity and selected conversation details: identifiers, sender and recipients, subject, dates, message text, labels/read status and attachment metadata. Supported inline images can be loaded on demand. Google remains the original store for the mailbox.

Queries and date filters narrow the messages shown but do not limit the Google permission itself to a single label. Foundry cannot send, edit or delete Gmail messages and does not mark them as read.

Optional processing with Codex

Mail Check is voluntary and requires the creator to review and confirm an input preview. Only selected message text and the context shown in that preview are provided to OpenAI through Codex. Attachments and image files are excluded. OpenAI processes the request as an online service associated with the creator’s account; this is not processing confined to the local computer. Results are suggestions for the creator, not automatic replies or decisions about rewards.

Google data is used to provide these visible support features. It is not sold, used for advertising or used by Foundry to train general-purpose models. Any transfer of Google data is restricted to the purposes and requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

Foundry stores encrypted OAuth credentials, configuration and operational audit records on the creator’s private computer. Mail Check previews, the selected message text and analysis results are stored in its private database and backups. These records are not published on this website or in the source-code repository.

Support records and analysis history are retained while needed to handle conversations and manage the project. This development version has no automatic expiry for Mail Check records; deletion is handled manually on request. Revoking Google access stops future retrieval but does not automatically remove earlier local records or backup copies. For a data-access or deletion request, write to blacksmith.forge.hub@gmail.com; the creator will review the relevant records and backups.

Service providers and future features

Cloudflare hosts the public pages, Porkbun provides domain and incoming forwarding services, and Google provides Gmail. OpenAI is involved only in explicitly requested Codex assistance. These providers may process data in locations outside your country under their applicable terms. Sender is being configured for project emails; no public newsletter signup or automated campaign is available on this site yet. This notice will be updated before new public collection or delivery features launch.

Questions and control

Contact blacksmith.forge.hub@gmail.com to ask about your data, request a copy, correction or deletion, or raise a concern. The creator can also disconnect Foundry through Google Account → Security → Third-party connections. Google account consent is only requested from the creator, never from visitors to this site.
